The Portsmouth Cruise-Raft-Up in July 2010: SSC members having fun on the water in the summer time!!

The Seacoast Ski Club (SSC) was founded in 1981 to promote Alpine and Nordic skiing in the New Hampshire Seacoast area. We have since become a four-season club enjoying a great variety of outdoor activities including skiing, snowboarding, biking, kayaking, hiking, sailing and camping. The club organizes day, weekend and week-long trips throughout the year. Some of our exciting destinations have included:

  •    Grindelwald, Switzerland    •   Morzine, France    •  
•   Whistler, British Columbia   •   Lake Tahoe, California   •   Telluride, Colorado   •
•    Big Sky, Montana   •   Sugarloaf, Maine   •   Stowe, Vermont   •

The SSC is a nonprofit organization. It is run by it's members to offer good values on our ski packages and all other club activities. Trip Leaders are also members. They volunteer to receive club training to successfully organize and promote club-sponsored trips.

For 25 years, volunteer members have also organized the Annual Seacoast Ski Club Ski Swap to benefit the skiing and snowboard families of the greater New Hampshire Seacoast community. The Ski Swap is the single fund raising activity for the club, and welcomes volunteers to help make it a huge success. This year's Swap was on Saturday, November 7, 2009. Thanks to all of our volunteers for making it a big success!

SSC meetings are held the second Monday of each month at 7:30 pm from September to June in the upstairs meeting room of the Redhook Brewery at Pease International Tradeport in Portsmouth, NH. Many members meet in the Redhook Restaurant for dinner before the meeting, and as a member, you will receive a 10% discount off your meal.
